In early 2013 I was the mine site manager for Crystal Mines, my role was initially the establishment of a new mine site east of Busselton. The site required wide band optic fibre link to the nearest connection point 2 kilometres away.

Trenchless Utilities were the appointed contractor to build the link, When the team arrived on site a site company induction was given to all those involved in the project. A vehicle inspection was also carried out by the company representative of all the equipment that was going to be used on site. It was pleasing to note that all aspects of the inspection was found to be in full compliance of the mines regulations act for equipment working on a mine site.

Of crucial importance to Crystal mines as mine site operators was the minimal disruption of the mine activity and SAFETY. Trenchless brought their patent pending SAFETRENCH system for what we understood to be its first project. The first stage of the project was to provide the link from the mine site to the main road entrance to Telecoms alinement, a distance of over 700 meters. Impressed that this stage was fully completed on the first day, the machine created allot of interest due to the rapid ploughing and laid conduit warring tape backfilled in one pass.

Trenchless Utilities undertook this project with total professionalism and rapidly completed the task with no incidents or accidents. The site was left in a very tidy condition and the buried cable was surveyed in and marked with appropriate signs.

I would be pleased to recommend Trenchless to any one that was looking for quality work carried out safely and professionally.
