We provide the latest in soil stabilisation technology to produce a superior and cost effective method of rapidly providing a solid, long lasting and durable pavement formation which is suitable for a wide variety of applications.

These applications vary in purpose from dust control to full depth structural footings, slabs and concrete-like surfaces.

Whereas conventional construction requires that the existing soil be excavated, removed and new materials purchased, transported in and re-laid, the stabilisation process minimises and often eliminates the purchase and importation of materials as the structure is literally built out of the earth. This process also saves a lot of project construction time and is environmentally friendly. All of the above SAVE YOU MONEY.

Specially designed and constructed by our in-house research and development division the Terraforma-300 is unique in its capability in that its compact size allow for it to be easily mobilised/demobilised to site, it is highly manoeuvrable where tight site access is an issue which allows us to stabilise areas that were not practical before. Though small in size it is a powerful machine capable of full depth reclamation in one pass. Its actions are that it simultaneously cuts though the earth and/or road sub-base and at the same time mixes the binding agent. The resulting blended material is then compacted and immediately produces a strong solid formation.

The Process

We work with our clients to draw up a program of works based on analysing the onsite materials and end use. We can offer in house testing or we can provide full lab testing of samples.

Inspect-Test-Choose Binder-Apply Product-Compact-Grade-Structural Test

From this we design a construction plan based on the structural integrity required. This plan will set out the binder, its application ratio, process and procedure.

These differing methods are used to increase the mechanical parameters of the soil in order to attain varying California Bearing Ratio (CBR) ratings and levels of permeability. To form these capabilities and depending on the application, differing quantities of binding agents such as polymer, cement, lime, flyash, foamed tar, or microfibers reinforcement may be used – a process which suits a wide variety of differing ground conditions.

Stabilisation can be used as a solution to dust control, potholes, corrugated roads, hard shoulder dilapidation and bogged fork lifts.

Polymer Stabilisation

Polymer Stabilisation can stabilise almost any material commonly found in earthworks applications. From strengthening naturally occurring sub grade, to applications in crushed rock prior to sealing works and anything in between.

Polymer Stabilisation challenges traditional methods of stabilising road material by providing results comparable to cement or lime but being much easier to use and more cost effective.

Polymer Stabilisation comes in concentrated powder form, when conditioned in to the surface with the TERRAFORMA-300 it mixes easily even with difficult to mix materials we achieve get optimum results.

As it is a concentrate 1Kg Polymer will cover 250m2 at 100mm depth. These comparatively small amounts of Polymer dramatically increase the strength of your road and there are huge water savings during the construction or maintenance process.

Your pavements will be stronger and longer lasting, more water resistant and less dusty than stabilising with the usual methods because you'll have a tighter and better bound running surface.

Stabilised Sand

Cement Stabilised sand has numerous applications in the construction industry and is widely used.

Some common applications include:

  • Backfilling
  • Retaining
  • Support and protection of utility’s
  • Sub base in floors
  • Screeding Leveling
  • Erosion control

We will work with your engineer to produce a mixuture to suit the engineering needs. Typical rates of treatment vary form 3 -10 % with most applications calling for 4 -6%.

Transporting in large volumes of stabilised sand at rates over $125 per cub can be an expensive process.

The TERRAFORMA-300 is capable onsite production of up to 500 Cu M per day making it one of most rapid cost effective methods of large scale production.
